Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze bridge inspection reports and construction plans to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Assign and oversee the work of the bridge maintenance team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Develop and implement strategies to improve bridge maintenance and repair processes
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Manage and maintain accurate records of bridge maintenance and repair activities
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Five (5) years of full-time equivalent experience in bridge maintenance and construction
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Ability to obtain multiple certifications within two years of employment, including VDOT, ACI, and DEQ certifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with tanker endorsement (N)
- Experience with bridge inspection and maintenance software
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
