Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Credit Union Department. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Department, including answering phones, processing correspondence, and maintaining filing and data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the Department: Answers phones, responds to inquiries, and processes correspondence.
  • Maintains filing and data systems: Retrieves, logs, and distributes electronic reports, and maintains records management.
  • Assists with reports and correspondence: Inputs data, assists with report preparation, and reviews and updates documents.
  • Contributes to team effort: Works on and accomplishes other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent is required. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a two-year associate degree (or higher) is preferred. Office experience and education may be substituted for one another.

Preferred Qualifications: Spanish speaker, prior experience within a state agency.
