Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources and Customer Service Clerk to join our team at Max's Artisan Breads Inc. in Fresno, CA. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the production management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, filing, and handling routine correspondence.
  • Support the production management team by gathering and distributing employee information, assisting with timecard corrections and approvals, and performing other duties as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with department staff, supervisors, and employees to maximize productivity and maintain good working relationships.
  • Exercise tact and discretion in interpersonal contacts, respecting confidentiality and upholding company values.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of experience in the HR field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Ability to read and write English; bilingual a plus.
  • Must be able to follow simple instructions and rules, work under a timeline, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and able to think on their feet.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, kneeling, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, climbing, lifting, and crouching occasionally. Must be able to grasp, push, and pull frequently, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
