WSP is embarking on a search for a Vice President of Water Resources Engineering. Your Contributions
  • Leverage expertise in water and wastewater engineering to oversee and design projects encompassing domestic and industrial wastewater treatment, water system analysis and design, and rehabilitation of pump stations, among others.
  • Guide and evaluate the work produced by junior engineering staff, including engineering plans, technical reports, and permit applications.
  • Conduct field visits and site assessments as required by project specifications.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Promote technical excellence across all projects.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, identify new opportunities, and prepare proposals.
  • Mentor team members to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Support the execution of our comprehensive growth strategy in water services, including stormwater management and flood risk mitigation.
  • Enhance WSP's reputation by engaging with professional organizations and presenting at industry events.
  • Uphold ethical decision-making regarding company resources and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Essential
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in water resources and civil engineering, particularly in the New England region.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) in the relevant state.
  • Strong analytical and design capabilities with extensive experience in multi-disciplinary project planning and client development.
  • Commitment to exceptional client service.
  • Proven mentoring and teaching abilities.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Collaborative approach with a focus on consensus-building.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to health and safety policies.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Preferred
  • Master's degree in Engineering.

Compensation:

Expected Salary Range: $111,200 - $198,220. This range reflects the company's good faith belief regarding the compensation for this position, considering the successful applicant's qualifications and experience. WSP reserves the right to adjust compensation based on various factors.
