Job Summary:
SawStop is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Northeast Sales Development Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Northeastern United States. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with SawStop dealers in the region, developing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our dealer network to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their business objectives. You will also be responsible for implementing marketing initiatives to create demand and drive sell-through of SawStop products, as well as training dealers to successfully perform sales presentations and product demonstrations.

We are looking for an experienced sales professional who is passionate about delivering results-driven sales strategies and has a strong track record of success in the tools or machinery industry. Responsibilities:
  • Identify, qualify, recruit, and develop new dealers in the Northeastern United States.
  • Work strategically and tactically with dealer owners/principals to increase overall SawStop sales.
  • Implement and execute marketing initiatives to create demand and drive sell-through of SawStop products.
  • Train dealers to successfully perform sales presentations, product demonstrations, and close business.
  • Prospect and sell to end-users with dealers.
  • Support dealers at trade shows.
  • Travel extensively (over 60%) including some weekends required.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales of tools or machinery, preferably in the woodworking industry.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify challenges, and provide solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Motivation to succeed as part of a team in a demanding sales environment and report weekly sales activities.
  • Strong commitment to integrity, follow-through, and customer orientation.
  • Must live in the Northeastern United States, near major highways, and in proximity to major airport.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
