Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care activities, including admission and discharge processes, to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement nursing care plans, ensuring alignment with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and labor management, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
Requirements
  • Two years of clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex patient care situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures, with the ability to apply them in a practical setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of management experience in an acute care setting.
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.
