The Logistics Operations Supervisor is accountable for overseeing daily activities within the warehouse, managing supplier relationships, and facilitating communication across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining acceptable efficiency rates regarding product quantity and accuracy.
  • Ensuring organization and cleanliness in pulling areas and on shelves to maintain bin/shelf integrity.
  • Safely and efficiently operating materials handling equipment as necessary.
  • Contributing to the security and safety of the warehouse environment.
  • Assisting with the placement of incoming items into inventory as needed.
  • Receiving and distributing incoming materials.
  • Conducting basic inspections of incoming materials.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of delivery timelines from manufacturing facilities utilized by the organization.
  • Upholding high ethical standards, including adherence to all company policies.
  • Assessing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identifying cost-effective solutions for supply chain operations.
  • Addressing issues as they arise, such as delivery delays or accidents.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and interact with all organizational levels, clients, and staff.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar.
  • Excellent presentation skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects alongside daily responsibilities.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
