The Logistics Operations Supervisor is accountable for overseeing daily activities within the warehouse, managing supplier relationships, and facilitating communication across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with departments such as finance, marketing, and human resources to ensure comprehensive supply chain management.
- Researching and identifying potential suppliers for innovative products, technologies, or materials to enhance the company's offerings.
- Evaluating data and processes to devise creative solutions, generating reports, and presenting insights to senior management and other teams, while maintaining communication with external suppliers and clients.
- Developing supply chain strategies aimed at boosting efficiency and speed.
- Updating and managing inventory data within the system for received goods.
- Preparing and uploading invoices and packing lists into the current system.
- Establishing processes to ensure accurate loading and shipping of products, including the preparation of shipping documentation.
- Maintaining acceptable efficiency rates regarding product quantity and accuracy.
- Ensuring organization and cleanliness in pulling areas and on shelves to maintain bin/shelf integrity.
- Safely and efficiently operating materials handling equipment as necessary.
- Contributing to the security and safety of the warehouse environment.
- Assisting with the placement of incoming items into inventory as needed.
- Receiving and distributing incoming materials.
- Conducting basic inspections of incoming materials.
- Ensuring the accuracy of delivery timelines from manufacturing facilities utilized by the organization.
- Upholding high ethical standards, including adherence to all company policies.
- Assessing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identifying cost-effective solutions for supply chain operations.
- Addressing issues as they arise, such as delivery delays or accidents.
- Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or warehouse operations.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and interact with all organizational levels, clients, and staff.
- Strong computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar.
- Excellent presentation skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects alongside daily responsibilities.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must successfully pass a drug screening, criminal background check, and driver’s license verification.
