Assistant Trackside Manager - Hybrid

Restaurant Associates is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Assistant Trackside Manager to join our team, delivering world-class hospitality for our partner in the Formula 1 circuit.

This role requires the successful applicant to travel and work abroad for approximately half of the year, working closely with a high-performance team to provide exceptional experiences for VIP guests, sponsors, and corporate clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the setup and management of hospitality areas, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality service.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of food, beverages, and other event services.
  • Lead briefings to communicate event details, guest expectations, and service standards to hospitality staff.
  • Monitor staff performance during events and ensure that all guests receive top-tier service and attention.
  • Assist with the coordination of special requests, such as dietary requirements or exclusive experiences.
  • Work closely with the Trackside Manager to coordinate the delivery of food, beverages, and other event services.
  • Oversee the smooth operation of hospitality zones, ensuring they are fully stocked, clean, and functioning properly throughout the event.
  • Be proactive in resolving issues related to service, logistics, or guest experience.
  • Ensure that all hospitality operations comply with health and safety standards, including food handling, fire safety, and crowd management.
  • Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of hospitality areas after the event.
  • Help prepare post-event reports.
  • Work closely with catering teams, security, and logistics to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Communicate effectively with different departments to handle last-minute requests.

Requirements:

  • Experience in hospitality, event management, or a similar role, preferably in a high-end or luxury environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on VIP guest relations.

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Flexibility and willingness to work long hours, including weekends, with the potential for international travel.

Knowledge of event logistics, catering coordination, and health and safety regulations.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
