Clinical Nurse Specialist

Position Highlights:

  • No prior dialysis experience is necessary.
  • Training may occur in various facilities or training clinics.
  • Flexibility to float to different clinics during and after training.
  • Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

  • Develop meaningful, long-lasting relationships with patients and their families in a close-knit outpatient environment.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team that values each member's contributions.
  • Provide care to patients with diverse co-morbidities, necessitating tailored treatment plans and a wide range of nursing skills.
  • Supervise a group of patients with the assistance of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to conduct patient assessments and manage equipment setup.
  • Engage in a dynamic work environment that requires you to utilize your knowledge, skills, and compassion daily.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited nursing program is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or a three-year diploma from an accredited program may also be considered.
  • Previous experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) settings may be beneficial but is not mandatory.
  • Certification as a Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is a plus.
