About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our technical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues of moderate to high complexity, including hardware and operating system integration.
  • Install and configure hardware and operating systems to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and document technical solutions to a variety of problems.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers to support software, simulations, and hardware development.
  • Hardening systems using tools like SCAP and following STIGs.
  • Support Enterprise Active Directory (AD) & LDAP.
  • Scripting Experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or 6 years of directly related experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience in one of the following: VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
  • Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
  • In-depth working experience in Windows Servers.
  • Experience with data storage solutions.
  • Experience using Information Technology project lifecycle management processes.
  • Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
