Job Summary

The FWS student assistant will work part-time in a variety of settings, including on-campus and off-campus locations. The position is designed to provide students with the opportunity to earn money while gaining work experience and developing skills that can be applied to future careers.

Responsibilities
  • Work part-time in a variety of settings, including on-campus and off-campus locations
  • Perform tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor
  • Develop skills and gain work experience that can be applied to future careers
  • Meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress standards set by Dallas College
  • Be enrolled and certified in at least six hours (half time) for Fall and Spring
  • Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen
  • Not have any prior institutional balance or blocks
  • Have transportation to off-campus worksites
  • Complete required Dallas College professional development training hours
Requirements
  • Undergraduate student awarded federal work study funds in financial aid package
  • Meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress standards set by Dallas College
  • Be enrolled and certified in at least six hours (half time) for Fall and Spring
