Global Supply Chain Manager

The RoleWe're seeking a seasoned Global Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with suppliers and partners to negotiate favorable terms and conditions, pricing, and secure product availability. Your expertise will be crucial in creating scalable supply chains that meet the demands of our rapidly evolving product development.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain supplier relationships for low-volume, high-technology products.
- Collaborate with our engineering team to develop and manage supplier requirements.
- Work with our hardware team to enable our platform for software development, ensuring agile and adaptive supply chains that respond to short-term requests and design evolution.
- Manage cost accounting for products, negotiate improvements with scale, and drive cost out of the supply chain while identifying design for manufacture opportunities.
To succeed as a Global Supply Chain Manager at Wayve, you will need:
Essential Skills and Experience:- Proven experience in bringing newly developed products to scale through supplier relationships.
- Ability to perform cost accounting for products and negotiate improvements with scale.
- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to drive decision-making across internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in developing collaboration between internal teams and external partners and suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent a broad range of trade-offs and decisions to working-level teams and leadership.
- Comfortable working in an agile program environment with aggressive milestones.
- Autonomous Vehicle or Automotive Experience.
- Knowledge of Import and Export operations and regulation.

This is a full-time role based in our office in Mountain View, CA. We operate a hybrid working policy, combining time in our offices and workshops with time spent working from home.
