Overview

Excel Property Management INC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of senior or multifamily properties in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering positive financial results and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize revenues and carefully monitor and control expenses.
  • Ensure properties are staffed optimally and employees are properly trained.
  • Meet lease-up goals and/or occupancy goals.
  • Focus on stakeholder satisfaction – owners, lenders, regulatory personnel, employees, and residents.
  • Preserve and maintain assets to the highest standards.
  • Reinforce regulatory compliance and adherence to all legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Associate degree or comparable experience preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in multi-site management.
  • Skills and Certifications
    • Strong track record of successful personnel management.
    • Knowledge of the development/construction process and undertaking new lease-ups.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for HUD, LIHTC and/or RD as well as state laws.
    • CAM, CAPS, COS, TCS, C3P, HCCP, and CPM designations preferred.
    • Real Estate Broker license preferred.
