About the Role:

Itron is a leading provider of smart networks, software, services, meters, and sensors for managing electricity, gas, water, and city services. We are seeking a highly skilled Product Management Specialist to join our team.

As a Product Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing our North American water metering portfolio and related business performance. This includes managing the overall vision of the product line, owning the roadmap, and working with cross-functional teams to facilitate new product introduction and end-of-life strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the North American water metering portfolio and related business performance
  • Develop and adapt various product-related documents, including marketing collateral and help documentation
  • Oversee market research and monitor competitive activity
  • Write and update product requirements documents for new products
  • Work closely with customers, prospects, and marketing to define product requirements for new products

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or similar portfolio management
  • Ability to work toward targeted project deadlines and drive cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
  • Experience building and executing business planning processes
  • Understanding of B2B/enterprise business environment, industrial manufacturing processes, and water utility processes
  • Master's degree in engineering or marketing, MBA is a plus
  • Subject matter expert in the water industry or other utility industry
