Job Summary

Biotage is a leading provider of workflow solutions and products for the life sciences industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team and provide technical support to our customers in the Midwest/Central US region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain Biotage equipment at customer sites
  • Provide training and technical support to customers on the safe and effective use of our products
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues with Biotage instruments and related consumables
  • Collect and record data related to maintenance and repair activities
  • Manage and maintain a personal inventory of Biotage service parts and equipment
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; BS degree or analogous specific related strongly preferred
  • 1+ years of Field Service Engineer experience or transferable experience
Work Environment

This is a field-based position that requires frequent travel to customer sites and occasional travel to attend training seminars and meetings.
