Board Certified Behavior Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at the State of OK JD McCarty Center. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in providing behavioral analysis services to children with developmental disabilities.
Job Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and provide training to Registered Behavior Technicians and Direct Care Staff in the implementation of ABA Therapy principles.
- Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct behavioral assessments, and develop specific behavior plans based on the needs of patients.
- Identify Behavior Strategies: Identify behavior strategies and interventions to implement in an attempt to reduce maladaptive behaviors.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate across various disciplines, including Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and others, to make informed decisions regarding the use of devices, equipment, and techniques when developing individualized treatment plans.
- Participate in Staff Meetings: Participate in weekly Physician Staffing and monthly Neurology Clinic meetings to report on client data and discuss recommendations for behavior modifications for both inpatient and outpatient clients.
- Facilitate Training and Support: Facilitate and assist in the identification and creation of training, supports, and resources for inpatient and outpatient families and/or caregivers.
- Consult with Families and Caregivers: Consult with families, caregivers, and other service providers and deliver on and/or off-site training as necessary.
- Attend Promotional Events: Attend JDMC functions related to promotional outings and marketing events for ABA-related services.
- Monitor Billing and Data: Monitor billing information, data collection, and daily session notes submitted by all staff.
- Assist with Intake Process: Assist the Director of ABA Services and the ABA Program Manager with outpatient ABA wait lists, including parent interviews, collaboration with school and other therapies, conducting assessments, and insurance requirements.
- Participate in On-Call Shifts: Participate in scheduled on-call shifts, for a 24-hour shift 4-5 times per month, to provide phone support to staff in assisting patients with challenging behaviors.
- Certifications: Must maintain all current certifications, including Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), QBS Safety Care, and CPR/First Aid.
- Teamwork and Communication: Can learn and grow while working as part of a multidisciplinary team, with strong time management skills and the ability to think quickly in unexpected situations.
- Physical Demands: Physical demands may include assisting with lifting, holding, or positioning clients with disabilities, sitting or stooping on the floor for extended periods, standing or bending over repeatedly throughout the day, and assisting with living skills such as feeding, toileting, and/or dressing.
- Travel Requirements: BCBAs are required to attend JDMC off-site field trips with all inpatient clients.
