Job Summary:
The State of OK JD McCarty Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. As a key member of our behavioral therapy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and provide training to Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians on the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy principles.
- Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to create and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments: Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify behavior strategies and interventions to reduce maladaptive behaviors.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and other disciplines to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Attend Promotional Events: Attend events related to promotional outings and marketing for ABA services.
- Monitor Billing and Data: Monitor billing information, data collection, and daily session notes to ensure accurate and timely submission.
- Assist with Intake Process: Assist with the intake process, including parent interviews, collaboration with schools and other therapies, conducting assessments, and insurance requirements.
- Participate in On-Call Shifts: Participate in scheduled on-call shifts to provide phone support to staff in assisting with challenging behaviors.
- Meet with BCBA: Meet weekly with the BCBA to review program progress of shared patients.

The JD McCarty Center is a 80-acre campus that provides inpatient and outpatient therapy services to children with developmental disabilities. Our campus includes an on-site elementary, intermediate, and high school staffed by Norman Public School teachers. We are a tobacco and vape-free facility.
