We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at the State of OK JD McCarty Center. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in providing behavioral therapy services to children with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and provide training to Registered Behavior Technicians and Direct Care Staff in the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy principles.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct behavioral assessments, and develop specific behavior plans based on the needs of patients.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and other disciplines to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct Behavioral Assessments: Identify behavior strategies and interventions to reduce maladaptive behaviors.
- Participate in Staff Meetings: Participate in weekly Physician Staffing and monthly Neurology Clinic meetings to report on client data and discuss recommendations for behavior modifications.
- Provide Training and Support: Facilitate and assist in the identification and creation of training, supports, and resources for inpatient and outpatient families and/or caregivers.
- Consult with Families and Caregivers: Consult with families, caregivers, and other service providers and deliver on and/or off-site training as necessary.
- Monitor Billing and Data: Monitor billing information, data collection, and daily session notes submitted by staff.
- Assist with Intake Process: Assist the Director of ABA Services and the ABA Program Manager with outpatient ABA wait list, including parent interviews, collaboration with school and other therapies, conducting assessments, and insurance requirements.
- Participate in On-Call Shifts: Participate in scheduled on-call shifts to provide phone support to staff in assisting patients with challenging behaviors.
- Certifications: Must maintain all current certifications, including Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), QBS Safety Care, and CPR/First Aid.
- Communication and Time Management: Have strong time management skills and the ability to think quickly in unexpected situations.
- Physical Demands: Physical demands may include assisting with lifting, holding, or positioning clients with disabilities, sitting or stooping on the floor for extended periods, standing or bending over repeatedly throughout the day, and assisting with living skills such as feeding, toileting, and/or dressing.
- Health Insurance: Health insurance benefit allowance given or opt-out allowance given with proof of health insurance.
- Optional Insurance: Optional insurance provided: Vision, Supplemental Life, and Dependent Health, Dental, and Life.
