Position Overview:
We are in search of a full-time Radiation Therapist to become a vital member of our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing outstanding patient care by administering prescribed radiation therapy treatments. Key Responsibilities:
To excel in this position, an individual must:
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients in line with established protocols.
- Precisely position the radiation beam and deliver the prescribed dosage according to the treatment plan.
- Support the radiation therapy department with patient care, treatment delivery, patient records, radiation safety, and quality assurance activities.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence throughout the treatment process.
- Operate and maintain radiation equipment to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, dosimetry, physics, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely treatment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of radiation therapy equipment and software.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adapt and excel in a float position, providing coverage across various locations as required.
- Show a commitment to patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- Must possess a current:
- Washington: National ARRT certification and current WA license for Radiation Therapy.
- Idaho: National ARRT certification.
- Must hold a valid CPR certification.
Salary: DOE $37.98 - $56.97 per hour.
