Job Summary:

Cancer Care Northwest is seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by administering prescribed radiation therapy treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols.
  • Position the beam of radiation and deliver the prescribed dose to correspond with the designated treatment plan.
  • Assist with patient care, treatment delivery, and records management.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout the treatment process.
  • Operate and maintain radiation equipment to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely treatment.
  • Proficient in the use of radiation therapy equipment and software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a float position, providing coverage across various locations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
  • Current National ARRT certification and licensure in Washington or Idaho.
  • Valid CPR certification.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, with on-call responsibilities as needed.

Salary: $37.98 - $56.97 per hour, depending on experience.
