Cancer Care Northwest is seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by administering prescribed radiation therapy treatments.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong passion for delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Accurately position the beam of radiation and deliver the prescribed dose to correspond with the designated treatment plan.
- Assist the radiation therapy department with patient care, patient treatment delivery, patient treatment records, radiation safety, and quality assurance functions.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout the treatment process.
- Operate and maintain radiation equipment to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, dosimetry, physics, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely treatment.
- Proficient in the use of radiation therapy equipment and software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and excel in a float position, providing coverage across various locations as needed.
- Dedication to patient care and safety.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- Must hold a current Washington National ARRT certification and current WA license for Radiation Therapy, or Idaho National ARRT certification.
- Must have valid CPR.
**Monday - Friday work schedule and on call as needed.

Salary DOE $37.98-$56.97 per hour
