Job Title: Civil Engineer

TRC Companies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer at TRC, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior engineers in highway/roadway improvement projects.
  • Perform highway improvement design, including freeway, ramps, local streets, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), signing and striping, retaining wall, and sound wall.
  • Prepare various types of plan sheets, including Layout, Profile, Construction Detail, signing and striping, and others.
  • Assist with quantity takeoffs and engineers' estimate.
  • Support senior engineers and managers in preparing exhibits, reports, and technical memos.
  • Coordinate with various discipline design leaders, including drainage, utility, traffic, electrical, and structural.
Qualifications:
  • BS in Civil Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate preferred.
  • Proficient in Microstation.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Experience in Inroads and Civil 3D design software is a plus.
