At HireUp Talent, we are dedicated to developing and providing Speech Generating Devices, software, and educational materials for over 35 years, focusing on individuals with communication challenges across the United States.

We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Funding Specialist. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Assistive Technology Specialists and Speech and Language Pathologists, as well as client families, to offer support and guidance throughout the funding journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess insurance eligibility and ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Secure precertification and authorization for necessary services.
  • Process professional claims and address any rejections or denials promptly.
  • Utilize analytical skills and sound judgment to navigate the claims management process effectively.
  • Provide assistance to clients and clinicians through phone and email communications.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
