Job Overview

Belmark Inc. is looking for a dedicated individual to work at our Pressure Sensitive facility. Our company specializes in producing various labels, cartons, and flexible films that consumers encounter daily. In this position, you will be tasked with operating the HP Indigo Press Technology within the Web-to-Print Division. A strong focus on customer satisfaction is essential, and flexibility in working hours is expected.

Work Schedule:

  • 3rd shift: 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., with Sunday hours from 12:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m., Monday - Thursday
  • 3rd shift pays for 40 hours while working 36 hours

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate: $24. This rate may vary based on role level and relevant experience, including shift differentials.
  • 3rd shift differential: additional $2.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a culture of food safety in compliance with Safe Quality Foods standards.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions diligently.
  • Maintain quality, productivity, and waste within established parameters.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment and adhere to safety procedures during all tasks.
  • Web and clean the press as required.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on the press.
  • Complete necessary documentation accurately.
  • Effectively use HP DFE Software.
  • Keep the workspace and machinery organized and clean.
  • Meet the 48-hour turnaround objective consistently.
  • Cross-train in various areas of Web-to-Print as needed.
  • Operate In Line Die Cutting Equipment when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in the English language.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Effective communication skills for information exchange.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Regular attendance is crucial for this role.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Professional and friendly communication skills.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for 80% of the work time.
  • Visual acuity for close and distant tasks.
  • Manual dexterity for machine operation.
  • Ability to lift various weights as required.
