Position Summary

The Building Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in supporting facility upkeep, renovations, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on the premises.
  • Assess, troubleshoot, and repair all production machinery.
  • Identify recurring equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Communicate repair status and progress effectively.
  • Make minor adjustments to facility equipment to enhance product flow.
  • Maintain daily logs of maintenance and repairs.
  • Secure and maintain work tools.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience with hand tools and shop equipment is essential.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical math and calculations is necessary.
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
  • Timely completion of assigned tasks is expected.
  • Accountability for time spent on various tasks is required.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and may encounter fumes or airborne particles. Occasional exposure to vibration may occur, and the noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
