Position Overview

Candex is seeking a bookkeeper who will serve as a Junior Manager of Global Operations to join our team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support our growth and financial operations globally. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records and transactions, managing accounting software, invoices, and tax payments, overseeing bank reconciliations on a daily basis and cash disbursements.

The Role

  • Recording transactions to various accounts
  • Monthly tax reporting (VAT, withholding taxes, national insurance, income tax)
  • Conducting daily banking activities, including but not limited to payments internationally
  • Working with external auditors, tax authorities and vendors worldwide
  • Producing various financial reports
  • Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements
  • Support month-end close for legal entities in multiple countries
  • Analyzing client-level reporting, revenue calculations and generating invoices
  • Maintain Corporate Credit card and reimbursement tool

Qualifications

  • Certified Bookkeeper (type 1/2 or higher)
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, (Hi-Tech Company)
  • Experience with Netsuite ERP system
  • Expertise with authorities reporting (VAT, WHT etc')
  • Familiarity with accounting softwares, and Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expense reports, Revenue generation
