Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lean Manufacturing Specialist to join our Global Operations Equipment team.
The successful candidate will utilize their expertise to solve problems, improve processes, and develop and execute lean objectives, demonstrating leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a change agent in the implementation of demand flow technology utilizing state-of-the-art tools and methodologies
- Establish and implement team strategies, programs, and practices to achieve world-class manufacturing inventory turns and process flow
- Support the lean strategy to reduce inventory, lead-time, and waste at the manufacturing facility
- Drive measurable improvements in productivity and product flow
- Develop model lines through the Lean Roadmap application
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college with at least 4 years of experience in a lean manufacturing environment
- Preference will be given to applicants with Engineering experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, a bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Engineering or Applied Science highly desired
- Knowledge of standard work, value stream mapping, one-piece flow, Kaizen, 5S, and other lean tools
- Managerial level presentation skills must be able to sell ideas and influence others
- Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate across levels and within a complex matrix
