Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer III to join our team at RECARO Aircraft Seating GmbH & Co. This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in manufacturing, process improvement, and lean principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new manufacturing processes
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing standards and procedures
  • Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and procedures
  • Identify and resolve technical problems and issues in the manufacturing process
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing and/or assembly environment
  • Strong knowledge of lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with 3D modeling and CAD design
  • Knowledge of aerospace materials and requirements
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printing
  • Green Belt certification in Six Sigma
