Job Title: Associate Director of Institutional Giving

World Science Festival is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Institutional Giving to join our Development team. This role will be responsible for building and sustaining relationships with private foundations, corporate foundations, and government agencies to support our organization's growth and mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to secure institutional funding for World Science Festival's programs and initiatives.
  • Identify, research, and cultivate new institutional prospects, as well as maintain and grow existing relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Development to represent World Science Festival at institutional meetings and events.
  • Write and submit grant proposals, reports, and other written materials to secure funding.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of institutional donor and prospect interactions, including correspondence, meetings, and proposals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in institutional giving, with a proven track record of securing funding from private foundations, corporate foundations, and government agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, non-profit management, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling grant proposals and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage and analyze data to inform fundraising strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and communication.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience. World Science Festival offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
