Summary/Overview:

Kroll Bond Rating Agency, Inc. (KBRA) is in search of a qualified Analyst to become part of its expanding Financial Institutions division. This position will concentrate on credit evaluations and research pertaining to non-bank financial entities. The role will be stationed at KBRA's New York office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine financial statements of financial entities with a focus on Asset Managers and other non-bank financial institutions.
  • Draft committee memoranda, analytical reports, and supplementary materials while assisting senior analysts in the investigation of financial institutions, including industry analysis.
  • Deliver rating recommendations during rating committee sessions and engage in external management discussions and investor communications.
  • Oversee a portfolio of financial institutions, tracking significant developments.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
  • A bachelor's degree is mandatory; an advanced degree and/or CFA designation is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a financial analysis capacity within the financial services sector or a rating agency.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) along with proficiency in Excel.
  • CFA certification and familiarity with Bloomberg are viewed favorably.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a team in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
  • A strong interest and/or relevant experience in credit ratings and/or financial sector transactions.
Compensation:

The expected annual base salary range for this full-time role is $90,000 to $170,000. Salary offers are influenced by factors such as experience, skills, location, and other job-related considerations.
