NFP Health Sales Specialist Opportunity

NFP Health is seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our Business Engagement Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client and broker relationships, driving new business opportunities, and ensuring a consistent and efficient process within the HealthSource RI for Employers State Exchange.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities through consulting, prospecting, and networking.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients and brokers through outstanding communication and superior service and support.
  • Partner with the Customer Support Team to ensure accurate data entry into the enrollment and billing systems.
  • Investigate and resolve client or broker concerns and issues in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Attend industry functions and events to establish and develop client and broker relationships.
Requirements:
  • Health & Life Insurance License (RI) required, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment.
  • Employee benefits experience, insurance carrier or brokerage a plus.
  • Knowledge of group insurance products (Health, Dental, Life, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor across various contexts.
  • Familiarity with sales or account management functions, with a strong emphasis on customer service and support.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices, experience with Salesforce a plus.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
