At SPINS, we're seeking a seasoned HR leader to join our team as a Director, HRBP. As a key member of our PeopleOps team, you'll play a critical role in shaping our organization's human resources strategy and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

About the Role:

This is a 6-month contract opportunity, reporting to the Chief People Officer. As a Director, HRBP, you'll be responsible for planning, leading, developing, and coordinating HR policies, activities, and initiatives to support our organization's mission and talent strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand our organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support our human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs, including talent acquisition, recruitment, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, recognition, and employee engagement.
  • Identify recruiting needs, develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends, including review of reports and regulatory changes.
  • Monitor and ensure our organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Develop and implement departmental budget.
  • Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities.
