Job Summary

Premise Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health Professional to join our team. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will provide high-quality behavioral health services to our clients, utilizing evidence-based intervention methods to meet their unique needs.

Essential Functions
  • Utilize a strengths-based approach to assist clients in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.
  • Provide psychotherapy or counseling services to individuals, groups, couples, or families, as needed.
  • Interact with clients to assist in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
  • Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues and diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, screeners, records, and reference materials.
  • Utilize evidence-based intervention methods within scope of practice to meet the needs of the population.
  • Counsel individuals regarding problems such as stress, substance abuse, and family situations, to modify behavior or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment.
  • Engage clients in collaborative discussion of treatment goals and desired outcomes.
  • Participate as an active team member in the clinical care team, including consultation, case management, care coordination, and coordination of referrals.
Job Requirements
  • Master's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study.
  • Licensed mental health clinicians, including LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, LPCMH, LPCC, and LCPC.
  • CAMS – care certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health, including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism, and drug dependency.
  • Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting.
  • Experience identifying, preventing, and treating suicidal behaviors.
  • Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous clinical experiences in integrated behavioral health settings.
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of individuals in an outpatient counseling setting.
  • Experience in family, couples, and therapy with children, as applicable.
  • Ability to interact and consult with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including primary care providers, community providers, and services as needed.
  • Diagnostic assessment and referral skills to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish a good rapport with all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of EHR use and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Cultural competency and flexibility in response to urgent psychosocial situations.
