The Licensing Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating all licensing processes with the appropriate state and federal authorities for all loan originators and entities associated with Yield Solutions Group Inc. This position also provides essential administrative assistance to the senior management team as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance of NMLS and state licensing records, including the establishment of new branches for all loan originators.
- Monitor continuing education obligations for all licensed loan originators.
- Collaborate with loan originators to collect necessary information for licensing and renewal activities.
- Address all internal and external inquiries related to the aforementioned responsibilities.
- Track the status of licenses in NMLS and keep relevant stakeholders updated on any challenges encountered.
- Serve as the primary backup for other members of the licensing team as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in licensing within the mortgage sector.
- Preferred 2-5 years of general experience in the mortgage industry.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the licensure of loan originators.
- Comprehensive understanding of the NMLS licensing platform.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with mortgage-related systems is preferred.
