About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Affordability Portfolio Manager to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As an Affordability Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of affordability efforts to help project leads succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement affordability strategies to optimize project outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate cost and schedule risks
  • Analyze and evaluate program data to inform affordability decisions
  • Communicate affordability plans and progress to stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in affordability management
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in program management or business analysis
  • Experience supporting a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP)
  • Experience in the analysis of DoD acquisition programs or projects, including aircraft systems, maintenance, and maintenance reporting processes
  • Experience with managing program and project status and schedules
  • Knowledge of policy and documentation for life-cycle management of military acquisition programs
  • Knowledge of qualitative or quantitative analytical and evaluative methods for the assessment and improvement of cost and performance initiative opportunities
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal or diplomatic skills, to brief higher levels of leadership
Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $42,600.00 to $87, annualized USD.
