Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Overnight Bell Attendant to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Maui Kapalua. As a key member of our Rooms & Guest Services Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and escort guests to their rooms, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property, providing directions and information as needed.
  • Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, highlighting local areas of interest and activities.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests, including the use of room keys, mini-bars, and in-room safes.
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell areas, ensuring efficient and secure handling.
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including loading/unloading luggage, and provide directions as needed.
  • Supply guests with directions and arrange transportation (e.g., taxicab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service) as required.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to move, lift, and carry objects in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
