Job Title: Qualified Mental Health Professional

At Youth Advocate Programs, we are seeking a qualified and dedicated Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a Qualified Mental Health Professional, you will play a vital role in providing targeted case management and rehabilitative services to youth with serious emotional disturbances and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide case management and skills-based interventions to increase the youth's natural supports and strengths, fostering resilience and recovery.
  • Deliver services in the participant's home or appropriate community setting, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Accurately document services, attend Wraparound Team meetings as needed, and communicate participant progress to supervisors, team members, and the referring authority.
  • Collaborate with the Wraparound Team to develop and implement individualized service plans that meet the unique needs of each youth and family.
  • Provide education and support to families on mental health issues, coping strategies, and community resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a human services-related field, as defined by Texas Administrative Code.
  • Experience in the provision of home and community-based services.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification and Behavior Management (MANDT) Certification.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
