Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual Office Technician to join our team at Comhar Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Latino Treatment Program, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide professional phone communication, answer incoming calls, take and relay messages, make appointment reminders, and check voicemail.
  • Scheduling: Follow scheduling guidelines to schedule prescribers and assist with scheduling changes.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional, trauma-informed customer service and demeanor at all times.
  • Data Entry: Complete initial contact with consumers, enter/update consumer information into electronic health records (EHR), assist consumers with initial intake tasks.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify consumers' insurance eligibility consistently.
  • Filing and Retrieval: File/retrieve charts when needed.
  • Consumer Support: Check consumers in/out, provide transportation passes and obtain necessary consumer signatures.
  • Reminders and Monitoring: Assist with monitoring and reminders to staff and consumers to help ensure recovery/treatment plans and medication are current.
  • Communication: Assist with consumer communication to facilitate behavioral health services.
  • Medical Records: Assist with medical records department, on an as-needed basis.
  • Teamwork: Maintain professionalism with both independent tasks and during collaborative teamwork.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma (or GED) and at least two (2) years office experience or related experience; Associate's Degree and at least two (2) years of office experience.
  • Skills: Bilingual (English and Spanish) skills required; excellent mathematical skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; type 45–55 wpm; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Certifications: Valid PA State Criminal, FBI, Child Abuse clearances; ACT 31 (Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse Certificate); Adult and Child CPR w/AED & First Aid certification.
