Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Technologist, you will:
- Conduct precise laboratory tests and ensure timely analysis of proficiency samples.
- Take charge of departmental responsibilities in the absence of supervisory staff.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient results.
- Execute urgent procedures within established timeframes.
- Utilize sound judgment and independent reasoning in interpreting patient results.
- Monitor pending logs and resolve outstanding workloads.
- Implement quality control measures and manage critical laboratory specimens.
- Associate Degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a similar role is required.
- A State of Florida Technologist License is essential or the ability to secure one during the interview process.
- Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas is preferred.
