Job Title: Senior SSD Validation Engineer

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence.

We are seeking a Senior SSD Validation Engineer to join our team in Longmont, CO. As a key member of our validation team, you will be responsible for providing domain expertise on NVMe and PCIe protocols as applied by Enterprise NVMe SSDs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide domain expertise on NVMe and PCIe protocols as applied by Enterprise NVMe SSDs.
  • Own assigned test pool from test request through results analysis and reporting.
  • Leverage a customer-focused demeanor toward delivering consistent and detailed test data and analysis.
  • Perform first and second-level triage on test failures to aid in root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate across functions to innovate new solutions to execution, triage/analysis, and reporting of test data.
  • Work to provide continued automation of test execution, triage, and reporting tasks throughout validation.
  • Mentor junior engineers on all matters execution, triage, and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience with PCIe and NVMe protocols.
  • Proven experience with test triage and root cause of sophisticated issues.
  • Experience as team lead preferred, including history of successful training/mentorship of others.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate changes to required test cycle start/end times.
  • Must be available to work on-site at the Longmont lab full-time.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Without degree, looking for 7+ additional years of related work experience.
  • 10+ years experience in electronics test environment, preferably storage.

Micron Technology offers a competitive salary range of $137,000.00 to $233,000.00 per year, depending on location and experience. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses, and equity.
