About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Validation Engineer to join our Enterprise SSD Validation Engineering team at Micron Technology. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our enterprise SSD products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement validation strategies to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing, to drive validation deliverables.
  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate our products.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive failures to closure.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of validation experience, with a strong background in enterprise SSD validation.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise SATA & PCIe SSDs, NAND, memory storage hierarchy, and enterprise storage.
  • Ability to read and understand FW code, analyze complex firmware, software (Windows & Linux), and hardware issues in systems with experience in ASIC/FPGA design and FPGA design tools.
  • 5+ years of programming experience in Python, C++. Preferable in the area of NVMe SSD testing.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership experience with a proven ability to inspire and lead change.
  • Ability to analyze problems, diagnose to root cause, and apply corrective actions.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and teamwork skills across sites & time zones.
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing environment with shifting demands.
  • Experience with Agile product development processes and project management.
  • Experience with quality and process improvement methodologies and tools (Lean, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, FMEAs, DMAIC).
