Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Foreman to oversee projects and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in HVAC installations across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage field projects while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of project specifications and requirements.
  • Review project drawings and specifications, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and maintaining communication with project stakeholders.
  • Keep accurate records of documents and approved submissions, alerting management to any discrepancies.
  • Document daily logs of potential changes, back charges, and other noteworthy occurrences, reporting them to project management as necessary.
  • Assist in drafting and submitting Requests for Information (RFIs) and maintain a log of all RFIs.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
  • Install HVAC systems in compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Provide training and mentorship to journeymen, apprentices, and laborers.
  • Supervise and manage personnel, addressing attendance and performance issues appropriately.
  • Foster a collaborative work atmosphere, coordinating with other trades to resolve conflicts proactively.
  • Monitor project timelines and communicate workforce needs to management regularly.
  • Review and order necessary materials in advance, ensuring timely delivery and reporting any issues upon arrival.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to enhance project efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary information.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety standards consistently.
  • Arrive at work punctually and maintain a tidy work environment.
  • Keep company vehicles clean and well-maintained.
  • Exhibit a willingness to mentor and develop team members.
  • Comply with HVAC system standards as mandated by relevant authorities.
  • Dress appropriately and maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the HVAC field.
  • Proven ability to manage teams of 5-15 personnel effectively.
