Job Overview

BGIS is seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team in Salem, OR.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading provider of integrated real estate management services, including facilities management, project management, energy & sustainability services, strategic workplace consulting, real estate services, and capital planning.

As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, demand service requests, repair services, and equipment changeouts at commercial locations in and around the state.

You will work closely with our support team, including dispatchers, coordinators, supervisors, and technical resources, to ensure that our technicians have the resources they need to complete their jobs safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Respond to emergency service requests and perform repairs as needed.
  • Conduct inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and recommend preventative repairs.
  • Install new HVAC systems and equipment, including ice machines and refrigeration units.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Washington State 06A license issued by Washington or Oregon state.
  • At least 3-5 years of commercial HVAC experience, with chiller experience a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed and travel to client locations for training and meetings.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 75 lbs, and work in confined spaces.
  • EPA Certification required.

The salary range for this non-exempt position in the US is $48.00-55.00 per hour. A candidate's salary offer is determined by various factors, including relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, and location.
