**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor - Power Utility Design (Hybrid) to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in the Electric Utility Industry; previous experience as a supervisor/manager strongly preferred
  • Advanced field, drafting, and/or design knowledge
  • Identified leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Familiar with basic concepts, practices, and procedures used in general personnel management
  • Strong technical knowledge, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop plans and organize work to ensure efforts are focused, resources are aligned, progress is monitored, and targets are met
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
  • Basic financial management skills
  • Ability to learn and operate customer-based proprietary software
  • Availability to work during core hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time) and occasional evening and/or weekend work
  • Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight travel
  • Dependable transportation and valid driver's license and insurance
  • Able to pass a background check/drug test/driving record check
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and perform sedentary work
  • Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word and convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication
