Alongside fundamental pricing tactics, Senior Revenue Management Analysts analyze demand forecasts and optimization outputs, implementing measures to maximize revenue potential across the brand portfolio. These analysts play a crucial role in inter-departmental projects aimed at sustaining revenue growth and strategic development. Comfort with large datasets, statistical analysis, and visualization techniques is essential. Interaction with key stakeholders and senior management necessitates the ability to leverage quantitative data to craft compelling narratives tailored to the audience.

  • Oversee inquiries to ensure timely research and resolution.
  • Maximize revenue across various geographies, segments, and channels through effective pricing and inventory strategies.
  • Communicate pricing and yield strategies, test outcomes, and concerns effectively to supervisors.
  • Identify and inform stakeholders of competitive market shifts and ensure brand actions align with strategic goals.
  • Analyze and summarize data, highlighting areas of opportunity for management. Participate actively in post-analysis discussions and document findings for replication in other markets.
  • Establish relationships with strategic partners in fleet, sales, marketing, and operations to expedite revenue objectives in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Utilize exception reporting and anomaly detection to pinpoint revenue opportunities and implement corrective actions to capture additional revenue.
  • Assume a leadership role in disseminating key learnings to analysts across the division and globally.
  • Conduct daily audits of optimization outputs, advising on demand shifts, anomalies, or potential errors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; preferably in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing/Business Analytics, or Revenue/Hospitality Management. An advanced degree in these fields is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a complex demand/supply planning environment, revenue management role, or predictive analytics field is required.
  • Proficient in analytics, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis, identify key issues, and present clear recommendations.
  • Ability to make swift decisions, embrace risks, and take ownership of results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in process innovation and development.
  • Knowledge of revenue optimization, pricing science, and economic principles.
  • Excellent computer skills are essential (proficiency in MS Office suite).
  • Familiarity with Tableau and SQL is required.
  • Willingness to relocate as necessary.
