Job Title: 4th Grade Math Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated 4th Grade Math Teacher to join our team at International Leadership of Texas. As a 4th Grade Math Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth in our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners and align with the Texas Education Agency's curriculum standards.
  • Assess student learning styles and use results to inform instructional decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with special education teachers to modify curricula as needed for students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement through formal and informal testing.
  • Assume responsibility for extracurricular activities as assigned and sponsor outside activities approved by the campus principal.
  • Manage student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and student handbook.
  • Take all necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
  • Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required.
  • Establish and maintain a professional relationship and open communication with parents, students, colleagues, and community members.
  • Participate in staff development activities to improve job-related skills.
  • Comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies for classroom teachers.
  • Attend and participate in faculty meetings and serve on staff committees as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned (preferred).
  • Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
  • Knowledge of core academic subject assigned.
  • Knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
  • Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • One-year student teaching or approved internship (preferred).
