Soliant Education is excited to present a full-time opportunity for a Special Education Teacher (LBS1). This role is designed for a committed educator who is enthusiastic about supporting students in a diverse learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruction Delivery: Implement high-quality, individualized instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of students with Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities.
- Classroom Management: Oversee a multi-needs classroom with a maximum of 8 students, supported by a team of 3-4 paraprofessionals to enhance educational outcomes.
- IEP Facilitation: Develop, execute, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure that student goals are achieved and progress is accurately tracked.
- Collaboration: Work in partnership with paraprofessionals and other educational staff to provide comprehensive support and create a cohesive learning experience.
Classroom Details:
- Grade Levels: 4th to 6th Grade
- Student Needs: Primarily focused on Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities
- Class Size: Maximum of 8 students
- Support Staff: 3-4 paraprofessionals available in the classroom
Qualifications:
