About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified 4th Grade Teacher to join our team at East Academy in Cleveland, Ohio. As a 4th Grade Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social-emotional growth for all students.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Utilize research-based best practices to differentiate instruction and promote student achievement
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement non-instructional activities
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student growth and progress
Requirements
  • Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area
  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field
  • High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to properly manage confidential information
