Job Summary

Chatham University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Head Coach for its Women's and Men's Track and Field programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the programs, which are members of the NCAA Division III and the Presidents' Athletics Conference (PAC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and retain student-athletes, develop and implement training and conditioning programs, and oversee the overall development of the track and field programs.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Athletics and other coaches to support the overall goals of the athletics department.
  • Ensure compliance with NCAA and PAC rules and regulations, and oversee the appointments and supervision of assistant coaches and support staff.
  • Develop and implement specific training and conditioning programs, and recommend and enforce discipline of student-athletes for infractions of rules and regulations.
  • Cultivate alumni and other constituents to further the goals of the track and field program, athletics department, and Chatham University.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time coaching experience in the college level.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Valid driver's license.
