Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Head Coach to lead our Women's and Men's Track and Field programs at Chatham University. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall development and maintenance of the programs, including supervising assistant coaches, student support personnel, and student athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy to attract top talent to the program.
  • Oversee compliance with NCAA and PAC rules and regulations, ensuring the program's integrity and competitiveness.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant coaches and support staff to ensure the program's success.
  • Plan and execute scheduling, travel arrangements, and other logistical aspects of the program.
  • Develop and implement training and conditioning programs to enhance student-athlete performance.
  • Recommend and enforce discipline for student-athlete misconduct.
  • Cultivate relationships with alumni and other constituents to promote the program's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the program's budget and resources effectively.
  • Ensure the program's events and activities align with the university's mission and values.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time coaching experience in the college level.
  • Computer proficiency and valid driver's license.
